Who are Bradford Doulas?
Bradford Volunteer Doulas is a birth focused service offering short term, person centred support in the Bradford District.
Our trained volunteer doulas offer informational and emotional support to birthing people and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
With person centred care at the heart of our working practice, support provided may vary from family to family. A standard support offer generally spans a time period from six weeks before birth, during labour and six weeks postnatally.
Depending on volunteer availability, we provide in-person and over-the-phone support, lend birthing balls and car seats, and collaborate with other organisations to deliver food parcels and care packages.
